About the festival

Cavatina Guitar Festival – the most guitar-focused festival in Poland!

Cavatina Guitar Festival is an event that attracts guitar lovers not only from Poland, but also from abroad. We are about to celebrate the third edition of the country’s most guitar-focused festival — a festival that fully showcases the diversity and versatility of this instrument.

The slogan “All Faces of Guitar. One Festival” perfectly captures the spirit of the event. During the festival, we present the guitar in every possible role — from a leading instrument commanding the audience’s full attention, to a subtle yet indispensable companion to other instruments, without which many compositions would lose their character and emotional depth.

The guitar can be the solo hero of the stage, but also the quiet foundation of a band’s sound — binding the rhythm together, creating atmosphere, and giving music its unique color. From classical compositions and jazz improvisations to powerful electric sounds, the festival demonstrates just how versatile and unconventional the guitar can be, and how strongly it influences the final sound of music.

The first edition took place in 2024, and the numbers speak for themselves: 50 artists, 30 concerts, and 3 stages. Both acclaimed stars and rising talents created a highly diverse program — from indie and singer-songwriters, through jazz, blues, and soul, to pop and rock music. The lineup of the second edition was equally impressive — Jose Gonzalez performed at Cavatina Hall with his only concert in Poland in 2025! This remarkable mix of talents emphasized the festival’s unique international character.

During the third edition of the festival (May 23–24, 2026, at Cavatina Hall in Bielsko-Biała), the lineup included: ARCHIVE, Artur Rojek, Asaf Avidan, Wojciech Pilichowski, Cari Cari, Cinnamon Gum, Mateusz Kowalski, and David Fly.

Discover Cavatina Hall

Located in the picturesque capital of the Podbeskidzie region, Bielsko-Biała — the first Polish Capital of Culture — Cavatina Hall is renowned for its unique concert hall, modern architecture, and exceptional acoustics. Cavatina Hall is a symbol of freedom. A symbol of the belief that everything is possible. A symbol of independence from schools, academies, politics, and institutions. It does not define or categorize music. That is left to the listeners’ judgment and choice. Instead, it returns to the very source of music’s greatest power: sounds and emotions accessible to everyone.

Spend Time in the Beskids

Bielsko-Biała is a city vibrant with artistic life. It has deep cultural traditions, and its important role in promoting the arts can be seen everywhere. The city is known for numerous artistic initiatives embracing various forms of expression — from visual arts and theater to photography. These diverse forms of art not only reflect the city’s rich history and traditions, but also create a dynamic environment where artists and creators can grow and experiment.

What’s more, the Beskids are full of exceptional places worth visiting during your stay in Bielsko-Biała, especially since in 2026 the city was awarded the title of Polish Capital of Culture. We are proud that the 3rd edition of the Cavatina Guitar Festival in 2026 has been included in the official PSK 2026 program — the project has been co-financed by the budget of the City of Bielsko-Biała – Polish Capital of Culture 2026.

The city regularly hosts festivals, exhibitions, and other cultural events, attracting both local residents and tourists from all over the world, further highlighting its status as an important center of culture and art in the region.
